Handmade Chess Board / Checker Board made from Bourbon Barrels

Excellent craftsmanship! Such a unique gift idea. I purchased for my son who loves chess, and a good bourbon or scotch on occasion. I was able to totally surprise him! But I had to still be a little tricky. I individually wrapped one set of the pawns ♟ and had those in a gift bag. He opened those first. The chessboard was wrapped for him to open last. In the first picture you can see he’s looking…he’s thinking that the wood pieces are enough for the one side of pawns…(I should have only wrapped three). After he opened the board I brought the rest of the pieces out. He was really happy and surprised with his Christmas present. Thank you!!

My husband is going to love this!! I can’t wait for Christmas morning! What a beautiful set.
